The Medium Edge Grain Utility Board is beautiful and perfect for food prep, carving, and serving. It is made from sustainable Plantation Teak hardwood. Teak's tight grain and natural variation in coloration make it a remarkably attractive cutting board material, both for aesthetic and durability purposes. The natural oils in this hardwood allow it to repel moisture, warping, and microbes. Due to its durability, natural water-resistant qualities, and stunning wood grain, teak is perfect in the kitchen.
This cutting board comes from one of the largest Teak Plantations in the world. Plantation teak refers to the sustainability of this raw material because it is farmed using responsible forestry practices. Not only is the wood that this cutting board is made of sustainable, but Madeira has crafted it from remnants from other Teak products that would have been discarded in the manufacturing process.
Hand wash only with warm soapy water. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth. Do not soak in water. Periodically apply mineral oil to preserve the wood.
